You should go away from these forums for a while and move on with your life. You are obviously very paranoid about having ED the rest of your life, this is exactly the reason why you don't have strong erections. Try to stop thinking about it, it's the only thing that can solve this.

Besides, most guys on propeciahelp seem to recover one way or another, since the vast majority become inactive a few weeks after signing up on the forum. There are only a handful of guys that have been active long term on propeciahelp and most of these guys have problems that are not caused by finasteride. In addition there are a bunch of hypochondriacs on that forum.

I think a lot of these scare mongering stories are from the same people using multiple accounts to blow something very small out of proportion. This drug has been available since 1992 and for hair loss in 1997. These side effects have never been reported until this past decade and it only seems to effect those who use it for hair loss. I believe there are people who legitimately got side effects from Finasteride but I think the majority suffer psychosomatic disorder as a result of these forums.

There was a yahoo forum in the early 2000's dedicated to Propecia side effects FYI.

Blocking DHT in the male body is not wise as well as modifying a normal hormonal mechanism.

so then in that sense, the birth control pill for females is as risky as taking propecia in males?

The birth control pill doesn't block an enzyme responsible for the conversion of 9 different brain chemicals.

I'm all for saving hair with transplants but finasteride is dangerous.

See I believe people did get side effects.

However, I think that's more with the population that takes more than one milligram. Probably people who
use very high dosages do, for hair loss.

I don't think it's that high for one milligram though.
