Yes, 0.2 mg of finasteride can achieve a similar but slightly less DHT inhibition than the 1 mg dose. You can also take finasteride every other day if you want. Although the drug is gone from your system in less than a day, your DHT will be inhibited for a lot longer. I think people are going to say you need to take at least 0.5mg or 1mg per day for finasteride to be effective in regrowing but I don't necessarily believe that's true.
Just remember, taking a lower dose won't prevent you from getting side effects. People can still get bad sides from finasteride at low doses. But... you can save some money. :woot:

i think minoxidil 1x/day is supposed to be nearly, but not quite as effective as 2x/day
