My hair looks awful. It's thin and i can't even style it at all. So, I'm going to shave it.
how short should i buzz it? idk what size guard to use. I'm about a NW3.

I started with a #3, now I go with a #2 every week. Either way, it will take some time to get used to.

How do you trim the duck tail, ears,
and edges? Do you have someone do it for you?

I use a #2 all over my head. Then I have a couple of tapered attachments that I use for the ears. I use #1 on my side burns and neck, then I have my GF clean up my neck and around my ears. Usually done in around 15 mins.

It sucks, I am not going to lie. Changed my look completely. I'll tell you what, although I don't like the style, it does give you a clean and neat look.

Try it out, man. You might be surprised. Sometimes, you just gotta let go and give in. I just shaved my head again today for the first time in a while. Number 3 all the way around. It's definitely a look that takes some getting used to. When I was a kid I did it from time to time, but that was when I had a nice hairline to frame my face. Personally, I feel really self conscious about putting my hairline on display like that because when it's short, you can't really style it in a way that makes your hairline look more favorable. However, for some reason, EVERYBODY tells me that I look so much better with a really short haircut. This is the second experience now that I got a bunch of compliments. I like having hair long enough to style, but I get a lot of complements on the short look, which makes me feel like this much better about my eventual bald head in the coming years.

Just go for it. I did it and looked much better than I thought, wish I would have done this years ago. Plus not having to style thinning hair everyday is freaking a m a z i n g. I went with a 4 on top 2 on the sides though. Good luck.

dude I dont even think you need to shave yet tbh. If you go to a barber and get a short back and sides (2) faded in to a trim on top you will look good!

I've been on 1.25 finasteride daily for three months exactly today. I've been experiencing problems since taking it like loss of morning wood and libido, weaker erections ect I have gotten bloodwork for my testosterone and i'm seeing the Doctor about it this week. I plan to start working out and exercising to see if that helps.

I used nizoral for about two months. I used it twice a week but it made my hair feel... dead? idk made it look thinner so i stopped.

I don't use minoxidil because i didn't really think i needed it yet. I hope I don't have to use minoxidil yet, applying twice a day would be a mad hassle.

Idk, my friends so far have been like dude you have a big forehead lol so i guess people kinda notice my hairline is receded they just don't realise it's hairloss yet. Doesn't help I'm 5'7 and kinda pudgy. Shaved head look prob not helping haha.

You don't need drastic stuff . Get on some steroids grow some b**ch tits loose hair and shrink your balls grow a nice turtle shell with GH

I saw a dermatologist and he said there was definitely recession on my hairline and that i was thinning at the crown. My hairline seems beyond a nw2 imo
