About To Start With Finasteride But Not 100% Sure If I'm Balding

Hey guys, I have bought finasteride but before I am going to start using it, I wanted to check one last time if I'm really balding. I notice small hairs (around 1/3th of my normal hair length) falling out, but I'm not sure if they are from my temple area and my hairline (I do have a lot of small hairs on my hairline, but not sure if those are new ones growing or miniaturized). Oh and I already went to the doctor but she didn't really seem to know a lot about hair loss but she said I was fine...




So the first 3 pics are taken after I showered, the fourth pic is when I was around 6-7 years old, and the last one is completely dry hair. I'm currently 19 years old. Should I start taking finasteride in your opinion?
Many bald men in my family btw, brother is balding aggressively at 22... so worries me a lot.. Help is appreciated

You're probably balding judging from your hairline, shedding and family history.

U do have some miniaturisation that i can see. I think it would be best to try it already.

You appear to have some very slight recession, but considering you're only 19 I think it's a sign of more serious hair loss down the road, especially with what you said about your 22 yo brother.

Id start finasteride if I were in your place. Did your brother use any treatment?
