acne from finasteride anyone?

I know it is theoretically possible that testoterone level rise up because of enzyme blockage, but does anyone actually had acne from finasteride? I am on finasteride (proscar 1/5) for two month already and noticed some serious acne coming!!

I believe dht affects skin more than testosterone. Now that i'm on proscar, i have far less acne and oily skin! unk: I had side effects though, like low libido, fatigue and some brain fog but they went away after a week or so. Your acne may also go away once the body gets used to the drug.

I got a couple of horrendously huge zits during my first few weeks on finasteride....and I'm an old man compare to most of you so go figure. The problems stopped quickly enough after my body adjusted to the hormone shift. I wouldn't be too concerned unless this continues for a long time.

I got a ton of acne on my back when I started finasteride but after awhile my body seemed to adjust. Then when I went off finasteride I got a ton of backne again but once again my body adjusted and it went away.
