I'm 26 with thinning crown. Hairline is good (probably NW2 on left side and NW2.5-3 on right side) but there is noticeable thinning on the crown. It's not horrible but I wish it were better.
I've been taking propecia for the past 15 months and Nizoral shampoo 1% 2-3x per week for the past six months or so. While I haven't had any miraculous regrowth, I do think the crown has improved slightly (and at the very least, has not deteriorated). My question is about adding rogaine to the regimen. Can I expect anything more than maintaining what I have now if I add minoxidil to the mix? In other words, do people who weren't super duper responders to finestaride ever get gains from minoxidil? Just wondering what I can expect realistically.
