Hello all,

I am after some advice regarding who the best person to go and see regarding hair loss is? I apologise if this is the wrong area to post this type of thread.

I am located in the North of England and would be willing to travel anywhere within the UK, not looking to travel abroad if I can help it.

I would like to go and see someone and get an idea of what the true reason behind it all maybe (Obvious answer is straight up male pattern baldness) but looking to get some tests done and see whether the results bring anything interesting up from the test. Possible more sensitive to something that my medication does not cover.

I tried Finasteride for best part of 2 years and made the switch to Dustasteride 5 months ago and the left side of my temple has gone on the retreat, could this just be a simple Dust shed or do you not really shed again if you have already shedded on finasteride beforehand?

Anyway what I am after is some help regarding a Dermatologist / Dr. to go and see, get some advice / possible tests done and see whether Dust is doing its magic or my hair is more sensitive towards something else that Dust aint touching, I don't know haha, I'm very limited knowledge in it all.

Ideally someone trustworthy in England, Scotland or Wales.

Thanks

Richard

There is The Belgravia Centre, although they do seem kind of shady. I contacted them once, and I sent them a picture of someone who is an NW0 with no hair loss from Google Images, and they proceeded to say that the person is suffering from advanced androgenic alopecia and need to start using their 10% minoxidil lotion ASAP (which costs £150 for a three months supply)...

Lumiere Clinic. Yeah I have mate, she’s very good at what she does

Hey Gary,

Thanks for your reply again, Im going to give her a call at the back end of this week and get something booked in. Did you get anything done in the initial consultation like any blood tests and what not or was it a simple scalp check and a bill for £175 and a invite to come back a gain or further tests?

Thanks as always

Richard

Yeah I have came across these when doing my research, and that does sound a bit shady. I always think the bigger companies are one to avoid as everything revolves around money etc etc hahaha.

Thanks for reply
