When I started my regimen of finasteride, minoxidil, and nizoral... It was in December and i was at a Norwood 1.5-2.

It has now been 6 months and I have receded to Norwood 3!! I am only 18 years old and my hair is starting to become super thin and is aggressively receding at a point where I wake up and notice it inch more bald.

WTF do I do?? Things are getting worse and worse and worse!

I booked an appt with derm, but didn’t get scheduled until August.

Did you ever get any sides at all from fina?

I’m asking because unless you’ve had your dht levels checked while on fina, without any side effects you’d have no inclination as to whether or not fina is even affecting it.

If fina is doing it’s job it’s either not strong enough or it may be causing a rise in T and the T may be destroying your hairline.

What genetics are you up against? Did your family members recede past this point? You’re young and I’d have to agree that your situation is progressing fast.

If I were you I’d look into oral minoxidil as a first mode of action. You’ll read that it’s a blood pressure med and lots of people will say it’s dangerous but if you don’t take it wrong it won’t be as much of a risk. Lots of people say that it works much much better than topical and is almost garunteed to give results. I suggest this because assuming it’s important to you you’ll want to get that hair back before it’s gone forever. It may take some time to figure out why fina isn’t doing the trick and what you’re going to need to add or replace it with. Assuming it will continue to worsen and with how fast you’re receding I would say that’s time you don’t have to spare.

My next suggestion would be to consider RU in addition to fina or replacing fina with dutas and using RU. These work by different modes of action and will give an added kick against DHT. With RU specifically it would help to protect your hair from T without affecting your body if T is also part of the problem.
