Wet hair pictures, except for 1 dry pic of donor area.
Age 32, dirty blond hair.

Hair is buzzed to 5/8" currently. (16mm). I prefer to keep it at this length, even after a FUT/FUE.

I read that FUT/FUE looks better with blond hair than brown/black is that true?

What norwood # would you say I am? Considering FUT/FUE in Turkey.

Any estimate on # of grafts I would need?

Woah! Thats really fu**ed up! I guess the most horrible hairloss i have seen yet and being only 32! Really feel for you bro! I don't think you have good donor hair for transplant too. Its also very thin! Seems like you had advance diffuse and male pattern baldness! Try minoxidil 10% and dutasteride. Thats the only thing that might bring some hair!

Honestly bro, unless minoxidil works wonders for you I don't think a transplant is a good idea. Your sides and donor hair are very weak, which doesn't make you a good transplant candidate. The only way you're going to get a full head of hair anytime soon is by wearing a hair system. Also, to answer your question you are a Norwood 5 thinning into a Norwood 7.

You have loss at the donor area bro. When did you start balding? Is your family history of balding really fucked?

Here's a picture of my donor area, dry. The above pics are all wet when it looks extra bad.
Ignore the dandruff, started minoxidil today.

It doesn't bother me a ton, but I do wear a baseball hat when leaving the house 90% of the time, and hate getting sunburned up top.

Your hair looks a lot better in this pic, is it dry? With this new picture you do seem more like a candidate for a hair transplant, but I wouldn't expect miracles. I would recommend an FUT procedure as it has a much higher graft survivability rate than FUE procedure and with your degree of hair loss you need all the grafts you can get!

Yes this pic is dry. All other pics are very wet straight out of the shower.

Don't go for hair transplant! It would look sh*t with that thin hair on top! Search matt ammys on YouTube. He has kinda similar hair as of you just a little more hair on front! He has got all his hair back! I even checked his Instagram and now his hair is good dense and thick AF

These are from 2007, age 21. I haven't kept it that long in a long time. I prefer the 5/8" buzz now.
The time to get on finasteride was 2005 for you man. I reccomend you stay away from a transplant because it will still not look good. Look into getting an SMP done. Since you are used to rocking a shorter haircut anyways you might like it.

:(

Could I get good results from adding .05 mg Dutasteride once-twice a week, and minoxidil 5% twice daily, to my current 1mg/day finasteride? Or am I too far gone to get any results from that.

Its worth trying bro. If you can get ur hands on dutasteride definately try it for a year and see assuming you get no sides. Im curious why you waited so long to consider treatment?
