This is in response to something no one else was able to read, and thus is not pertinent to anyone other than the person I'm responding to:
You signed off before I was able to respond, which is not a great way to convince people of your cause. For what it's worth, I have struggled, do struggle, and will continue to struggle with it--that being said, part of my past struggle has involved making the determination that this struggle has nothing to do with your interpretation of it. That's not an insult to you--my best friend in the world adheres to what you were talking about. However, I suspect if he had so much as an inkling of desire to change my mind (and he does), he'd discuss it, not drop off a paragraph riddled with assumptions about what I have and have not thought about.
I agree with you on one point, and will go one further: this applies to everyone everyday, not only on our last. However, just because I don't adhere to what you spoke of, most definitely doesn't mean I haven't kept my mind open to it. So, I guess along those lines, I would say similarly: let's BOTH keep our minds open to concepts we've written off in the past.
