Maybe that's possible, yes. We'll see how many people show their interest, and ask when we make the deal. I'll keep them on the B list nonetheless, just in case we need to order 2 grams, if we want more than 1.

The more the better i would think..perhaps we get a discount if more people order

Ok how are we gonna do this? Does someone want to contact OC? I did previously but I only asked price for research purposes. If they dont want to sell it to private individuals, then I would have to order it thru the Uni I work for. I am a little bit anxious that people wont pay OC and then the others are screwed or have to wait a long time. Thus make sure you can afford it, otherwise participate in the next order.

If they dont want to split the order in 10 and receive 10 different payments, then I'll order it myself and people can buy it from me (that is if they trust me..... :innocent: ). It would have to be fair tho...all costs would have to be covered!

3 mg bimatoprost a day should give the same result as 5% minoxidil then? We need to do more research, but if 500 mcg a day isn't effective (I'm planning on using 1 mg a day for three months), I'm out.

Thanks for bringing this up

Yeah we need a 0.5% solution.. thus this is not feasible! On to CB-03-01!

I think the results from bimatoprost are achieved a lot faster than with minoxidil. We could experiment with 3 mg a day for one month and see what happens, although I fear it's a waste of money. If this turns out to be effective, more people will order, and the price should go way down.

What about that post from the guy who claimed he signed up for a bimatoprost experiment, but was rejected? He said they used the same strength as Latisse.

Some doctors have already tried using Latisse as an “off-labelâ€￾ treatment for hair loss. Hair-restoration expert Dr. Alan Bauman of Boca Raton, Fla., reported “modest hair growthâ€￾ among patients who have been applying Latisse daily to their scalp.
1 mg a day should make a difference... I think it's worth a shot.

OK let's not get our panties in a wad here... rest assured, I wouldn't put too much stock in this statement at all. Bauman himself probably has too much stock in minoxidil to foolishly steer people away to some other relatively unattainable product.

Fortunately, we have controlled studies to go by, and we have earlier you-tube videos which I posted, and we have chemical suppliers who don't give a rat's *** about the profits of Big Pharma companies (unlike doctors at these conferences who are sponsored by these companies).

To repeat for the 37th time, the monkey study used the exact concentration we're going to purchase (NOT 10x this) and they noted significant regrowth equal to 5% minoxidil, and that was with latanaprost, which is NOT as powerful as bimatoprost. End of story.

It's not the concentration that's important, but the total amount of drug. The video of him at the beginning of this thread, the one where he's prescribing bimatoprost and having great success, states that the patients are going through the same bottle of $130 Latisse 3 mL .03% solution that he mentions in the statement you quoted, every three weeks! That's only slightly more than half of what we'll be going through in 3 DAYS! Case closed.

Let's stay focused here and get this sh** ordered already!

It was a 0.05% solution... 500 mcg/ml

Enden said:
500mcg/ml is a 0.05% solution. They used that in the macaque study on latanoprost (not bimatoprost) which you've linked to.

1 ml solution

50 mg = 5%
5 mg = 0.5%
500 mcg = 0.05%
50 mcg = 0.005%
This was my response to zayin.

Quoting from the Original study

'The effect of latanoprost was dose dependant - with the minimal effective dose was 50 mg/ml (0.005% w/v).

'At a dose of 500 mg/ml (0.05%), latanoprost induced significantcant hair growth'

I think the later paper reflecting on this study confused these doses, and said the effective does was in fact .5%

Doesn't make sense that they would do phase 2 studys on a substance that is cost prohibitive, especially taking into consideration a significant commercial markup (ie not buying materials in bulk as we are).

So a .5% solution would be 5mg per application. How much would that cost per month to try?

Enough with the confusion already. 5 mg a day is way too expensive, and they used a 0.05% solution (500 mcg/ml) in the study, not 0.5%.

This compound costs around $1500/g.

Hahaha. Seriously, I think people are trying to sabotage this order? WTF?? :woot:
(Keith, please refer to previous posts :) )

Until we place this order, all questions related to dosages and concentrations are strictly... :banned:

We are in the final stages of this process. Just need the most reliable company willing to produce this stuff ASAP. Peeps' hairs are dying over here!
