I'm 4 1/2 months on finasteride and about a month ago I started using minoxidil as well. Now my hair loss has accelerated again. A year and a half ago I took only minoxidil and it increased my hair loss exponentially. So after taking finasteride for about 3 months and not seeing much of anything I decided to add minoxidil back in since it is supposed to work best with minoxidil and finasteride.
But like last time it seems to only be accelerating it. Should I just stick it out and keep on using minoxidil with finasteride or just go back to finasteride? It doesn't make sense everyone says that it is supposed to work best with finasteride + minoxidil but minoxidil seems to only make things worse
My hair loss is apparently different than most as I am also thinning on my sides as well. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what to do anymore
