Yeah, I read that. Still strange though, nor minoxidil or fina ever needed something that time releases the ingredients. IF the apple polyphenols work, or have a beneficial effect on alopecia androgenetica, I don't see why this absolutely needs to be released over time.

It doesn't "absolutely needs to be"....it's just something that could possibly give it an extra boost, or..as I've given examples of in the past- less of the active ingredient(in this case it'd be the apple pro's) would be needed. I've also posted examples of things working better with lipo/nano-type tech, as well as something working with liposomes that didn't work with a "regular" vehicle.

Also keep in mind..these pro's most likely aren't going to do much on their own. There are some decent before/after pictures..but as with anything out there they're most likely pictures of the best responder(s). I don't recall reading of anyone over the years getting those kinds of results. So besides using other things along with the pro's....encapsulating them and helping them absorb even more and be time-released etc etc is worth doing imo.

Hmm, I see. Thanks! So these apple pro's are simply found in regular apples? So - in theory - applying mashed apples with 'some kind' of vehicle would be beneficial?

jacob,

do you have any success with your treatment?

Just noticed this. My regimen listed on here isn't my current one..will change it one of these days. But I've done quite well..still looking for the mega-hair grower for the stubborn areas.

What's your stubborn area?

"Revigen Vinifolin" is a topical that contains 1% Procyanidin B2.

You may want to give that a try.

You can find it on ebay.
