You are the one discussing what haircut you should get for your full head of hair on a forum dedicated to hair LOSS lol

I understand that some of the people on this forum with more unfortunate hairloss issues are irritating at the many new registrants who come in here crying out for help with what appears to be "a full set of hair". However, that didn't dismiss the fact that they've notice thinning and want the support and opinions of their fellow male comrades. My original post wasn't intended to ask for "haircut advice". I was merely looking for outside opinion on the current recession of my hairline for my age which turned into an inquiry about particular styles I could possibly pull off with my Eddie Munster widow's peak.

I'm sorry if I offended the less fortunate with my newfound insecurity.

You are fine, I wasn't offended, just explaining why CopeForLife said that, but you seem to understand.

The Minoxidil seems to be helping. I'm seeing new vellus hairs at the very top of my hairline. But, they're only at the very top. I'm not sure if I've ever really had hair in those other bald looking temple areas when I pull my hair back. I think my widow's peak just helps to accentuate the dips more or something.

I failed to ask this question in my main thread. But, if you had to put a Norwood # on my hairline, any thoughts?

Here are some updated pictures of my hair while it's wet. I spiked it up so you could see the hairline without the weight of my hand pulling it back. You can see some of the vellus growth.

you could grow it out to a length like this so you could wear it slicked back and some days wear it like the 2nd pic which is how I wear my hair. I think ur hair will look fine slicked back. just not a man bun. I heard those damage your hair anyways

So you think I have too much hairloss to tie it back?

Any thought on what Norwood # you think I'd be?

Here's my crown. I think I've always had that bald look where my hair swirls, but, I'm not 100% sure.

yeah its just a normal cowlick. I don't think you are going to go bald any time soon but you could continue the meds just to be sure.

Right on, man. I really appreciate your feedback. That temple recession kinda snuck up on me. I had to go back and check old pictures to confirm my suspicions. Naturally, I panicked like most new people here probably do. :p

I'll continue my Minoxidil / Dermaroller / PEO, Castor, and Coconut oil regiment and post back if I see some regrowth.
