Am I Balding Or Just Have A Mature Hairline

Hi, I'm a 20 year old gender queer male from Australia and I've always had long ginger hair my whole life. It's become my defining trait to myself and other people, and it gives me the androgyny that makes me feel myself.
But I do have a quite high hairline and I'm concerned it may be receding which shits me to no end.
I had a hell of a lot of stress induced shedding throughout my high-school years, as well as alot of sickness as a child. Between 12 - 16yo I would pull fist fulls of hair out in the shower with not much of a pull, which has since stopped. I think that the hairline has receded at the temple since than and there is possible miniaturisation at sideburns. Both of my grandfathers were balding in middle-age I already have like no self esteem or confidence, and losing my hair I think would finish me, so If I could get an opinion on if it is receding and how to treat and maintain it, as naturally as possible. (Pics below)

Most likely a maturing hairline at most. if not that, then most likely a very minor traction alopecia from wearing your hair back. You can reverse it by just being less rough when styling your hair or wearing it in a ponytail. Other than that,I cannot notice any signs of recession. If you are still worried, go see a dermatologist for full accuracy. Hope this helped.

It is 100% male pattern baldness

Bro, I don't get why you go around to every thread and tell them you are "100%" sure they are balding. You are not a doctor. Just because your hair is crappy and pathetic does not mean you should worry everyone else and make them feel bad. There is no way you are "100%" sure this kid has male pattern baldness. If he is, he must have caught it extremely early. The only way to know fully know is by bloodwork and other procedures.

DO NOT LISTEN to this insecure idiot. He goes around on every post and just tells the OP they are "definately balding". Just look at the number of dislikes he recieved.

Hey y'all thanks for the opinions, I gotta say after lurking a few threads; this website is hilarious.
I have a friend who suffers aggressive male pattern baldness in his mid 20's and I though he was taking it hard but he's got nothing on some of the people on here.
Most men look perfectly fine bald; my friend forgets he's still handsome a lot of the time I've just never had hair shorter than my chin and I don't have much of a beard so I wouldn't know what I would look like at all.
I'm not to worried I haven't noticed any real hair loss/recession in some years now and I think when I did it was probably telogen effluvium combined with the fact that the hairline matures during puberty, I was very sickly around that time.
Basically I just need to take better care of my health; exercise and eat the right diet and practice better hair care like gentle grooming, exfoliating dat scalp and treat with nice *** oils. Y'all baldies just do the same take care of your health and your head; literally and figuratively.
I probably wont use this site again, I just wanted some opinion on if I've got any hair recession.
Thanks for the advice guys!

Bai :D

Just monitor mate. Looks very good. Great density. Don't see any miniaturization on the hairline. Think you're good for now. If you see a change then get it checked out.

@Vermin

You have healthy hair. It looks like it might be traction alopecia.

Our follicles are designed for long hair, so you don't need to cut it to keep your hair.

The braiding on the bottom left corner looks like the braid is very tight, am I wrong?

Traction alopecia is a serious thing. There was once an eleven year old girl that wore her hair
in a tight pony tail, in the center of her scalp.

Her hair became thinner at the ends of her scalp.

You definitely rock the long hair look. It's a good look for you.

Thanks man :) Yeah I've been trying to leave it more loose at the roots when I wear tails and braids, it's feeling stronger and healthier around the hairline I think

You have good hair density. You probably have around 140,000 follicles in your scalp.

As long as you treat androgen alopecia when it first occurs (I don't think it has occured yet, in your case),
you can keep the density probably well into your fifties.

General rule of thumb, .001% of hair is normal shedding. If you get more than 140 hairs lost daily,
you should do the following.

1. Finasteride - one milligram is good. Some guys maintain their hair well into their fifties with that
alone.

2. Minoxidil - Not the primary hair regrowth agent. But it will help you to grow your hair longer.

Yes, you will see shedding with Minoxidil. But it only happens one time, and not all the hair you put it
on will shed at the same rate. This is just the scalp area.
