Hi, I have been using nizoral shampoo for a couple years now. My gair doesnt seem to be much thicker, though I dont think any thinner. I have just took a lot of pictures, could anyone here let me know if I am really balding, and if I need ot start treatment? if so what?

Hope my pics help others with my hairline. (I have always had a very high hairline like my father, whos 60 and starting to bald now). I am 28.

dunno about the hairline but it looks like you are in the early stages of crown thinning. it could just be a cowlick but i'd go to a derm and ask him if to confirm it. if you've always been thin there then i wouldn't worry as much. but if you just noticed it, i would.

Thanks JayMan!!!!! My crown is slightly to the right, ive always had it. dont think its a cowslick.

Would you say I am at high risk of loosing it all anytime soon?

Thank you so much!

For sure you are losing the hairline ,you are in the early stages but you are losing it. Who cannot see that is blind. My hairline was just like yours in my early 20`s.Dont wait any longer start doing something about it , finasteride is what i started when i realized that somethings wrong. Now i`m in my late 20`s still with a full head of hair.(a bit of sides missing but ``virtually`` undetectable).

The crappy thing about male pattern baldness is no one can really even tell you if you have it or not. Science pretty much can tell you almost nothing about whether you will go bald, or anything. If you notice more hairloss then you are going bald most men do at some point and hairloss is 95 percent of the time regular male pattern baldness. That being said you can ignore it if its going slow or start a treatment and start paying money choice is yours.

sure you can tell, if you are losing over 100 hair a day, you most likely have male pattern baldness, it's that simple

Thanks Jay, anyone else got any advice?

or anyone used to have hair like me?

no you're not balding. The vast majority of 28 year olds would have a hair line similar to, or worse than, yours. If you've always had the high hairline (as you say), then there should be no worries. Unfortunately it's generally a fact of male life that your hairline will retreat somewhat, but that doesn't mean you should start taking propecia now. The crown shows no evidence of loss, and everywhere else is thick so be happy..

My hair (and hairloss :( ) is at the moment very similar to yours. But with the exception that I realized that I`m starting to lose my hair already when I turned 17 (I`m 30 now).

If your hair bothers you, then I would recommend that you try some of the treatments. And I would advice you to start with finasterid, not just minoxidil.

One can have male pattern baldness even when you don´t lose more than 100 hairs a day. The signs or male pattern baldness are basically a receding hairline and a thinning crown.

Subboy, to me it is clear that your hair is thinning. Get on treatments as soon as possible.

It looks to me you have obviously lost hair. You might not go bald, or you might no one knows. Theres probably lots of guys on propecia that dont even need to be, but atleast they did everything they could to slow it down.
