Im not sure if it was lower before, i think it might have always been kinda bad. Age is 17. Dad side is all good, moms side has some but started quite late. Its kind of a new development so I dont have that much information as of yet.

Yes. Start now to save yourself from regret. You can only start minoxidil at 17. When you become 18 and sure you're done growing, start finasteride asap, it is crucial.

I have had amazing results from Finasteride but from what I read the earlier you start the more effective it is. Get a nice topical solution in a lipophilic base and avoid the side effects. I use 1% almost nightly and have a nice poof of hair.

Sorry, there is not much else besides Minoxidil 5% combined with finasteride that really works but people will throw their money at any hope and prayer.
