i agree very early crown/vertex thinning

it's not very noticeable

alot of the time when you bald at the top of your head, it's more likely to progress than if you're losing hair at the temples.

You can look into propecia/minoxidil


note: If you're going the propecia route. Make 100% sure you get a full comprehensive hormonal blood panel done PRIOR to use, so you have a baseline to compare to incase you get any nasty side effects. This is very important.

ok well your crown/vertex is "your swirl" of the back of your hair

by some of those pictures it looks like "your swirl" is thinning/miniaturizing
meaning your hair follicles are struggling to produce a terminal "thick" hair
but then again it could just be that pictures and your hair is fine

How serious? well your hair could stay that way for years
you did say no male pattern baldness in your family
so you have genetics on your side
but that doesn't mean that you wont ever experience male pattern baldness

Is there anything you can do? well yes
i would see an professional like a DERM or GP and get a true diagnosis
of your situation

if you do indeed have male pattern baldness
finasteride "finasteride" should do wonders for you
since it works best for the crown

worst comes to worst you'll have to add minoxidil
but i doubt it will come to that

considering you thinning/miniaturizing is very early

I think your hair is starting to thin in the crown area but if you keep your hair short as you have it in these pictures it is not very noticeable.

FYI

I had the exac same pattern a 25 - it progressed VERY slowly.
I only started finasteride at 36 and re-grew at the crown within 4 months

Genetics are different for everyone but just because you show some male pattern baldness it doesn't mean it will be aggressive

I would not recommend a hair transplant surgeon.....but a derm visit is good.

I highly doubt you are balding at all. The fact you have no history of male pattern baldness in your family and the swirl and lighter coloured hair in the crown area is common in children and females who are not suffering from male pattern baldness.

Get yourself to a derm to check for miniturisation (spell?). I wouldnt hop on any treatments yet in your position.

It's called a Callic and it's normal to gradually thin in this area as you age.

Hi,

In my opinion, the focus is too soft and there is not enough light to base any opinions on those recent photos.

When taking progress pictures, it is important that they are similar to each other in angle, focus, resolution, light etc. as possible. Definately avoid taking them in the car where there is a roof just a few inches over your head and there is almost no ambient light.

By all means take a few "best scenario" shots to show what you look like on a good day, but hair loss shots need good lighting so that any thinning can be seen clearly.

Your hair is like mine ,no bald spots,temples are ok just generally thin actual hair (no offence intended im just sayin its like mine ) i havent seen pics of how it may have looked afew years ago so i cant tell,but like me u have thin hair but no bald spots,jurys still out.
