Hey how are you today Andrew?
I bought today Nizoral and did my first hair wash with it. Also bought some anti hair loss supplements and took the pills already. I can't wait any more for my Friday's miniutarisation. I don't want to waste any time seeing my life being ruined by hair loss

I hope you're already acting too

I'm just monitoring it. Taking pictures and memorizing what it looks and feels like. I have no male pattern baldness in my family and truthfully, I am not that concerned to be taking medication. Even since noticing my crown area I haven't noticed any excessive hair shedding, and looking back on old photos it was present. I geniunelly have a cowlick - which gives the appearance of a bald patch when my hair too is long or too short.

I am taking accutane at the minute, which is why I became paranoid about this in the first place. I have to go see the dermatologist next month, so ill ask about it then. I trust my doctor when I was told any hair thinning / loss would be temporary. If I need to, I will do something about it after my course of accutane. In the UK however, you can only get any of these hair loss medications privately, and when I looked them up it stated that you need to know WHY you are balding before you start using them. You dont want to make your problem worse, that is even if you have a problem to begin with. Maybe hold off putting stuff in you hair to combat loss until it is confirmed you are losing.

I also didn't have any shedding. After showers there was no hair on the bottom. Even if it's a false alarm I decided to take great care in my hair. Didn't expect that a possible hair loss will hit my psychologically so bad. Today I was thinking about hair loss all day, making hundreds of selfies from above and instead of partying i'm sitting here lol. What I noticed if you have your camera higher there will be less image distortion, cow lick seems to be smaller and a bald patch non-existent.

As for accutane, I somewhat have similar situation because in the last 7 months I lost 30kg of fat and my diet was rather poor in vitamines intake (I didn't eat much). I'm thinking it can be the reason. I'll try the supplements first before considering genetic factors. But visiting a Doctor is a must

Dude, cameras lie. I used the front facing camera on my iPhone 4S to take all my pictures (so as I could see the screen in the mirror as I took the picture). That is only a 0.3 mega pixel camera, and the back is 8. Currently and in general, phone technology will not be more than this, so you should not judge the problem based on a poor quality photo. I hate the front facing camera in general, all pics that are taken in dull or bright light area look pixelated. In the mirror I see a faint "bald" area but on the phone screen it is twice as big and 10 times as horrific.

If you want to check it, you should use a couple of mirrors to check out the area, ask a relative to look at or get them to take a photo with a real camera, rather than selfies.

I visited my derm yesterday and he took some of my hairs for trichogram evaluation. He said "it seems to be like the start of male pattern baldness" but told me that I should get rid of my dandruff first so I got a prescription for anti-dandruff medications. I'm visiting him once again in a month to check if I have any regrowth
