My maternal grandfather passed away in his 30s but from the few photos I have of him he looks like he was thinning a bit with NW2.5 temple recession. My maternal grandmother and her brother have full thick heads of hair in their 70s, he has nearly no temple recession. My dad has fine, low density hair with significant temple recession at 46 but no balding on the crown whatsoever. My uncles on his side all seem to have some hair loss save for his youngest brother with virtually no hair loss into his 30s. My paternal grandfather died in his 60s with thin NW2.5 hair. I can’t think of a single blood relative with hair worse than NW3.Wet hair , espically long hair will make it appear thinner.
How is your family history?
If you have lots of bald relatives , it's not to unlikely that it is the start of male pattern baldness, although this would be extremely early stages so you wouldn't become noticeably bald most likely for a long time. But there's also a good chance it's just a natural cowlick.
If thats all your losing consider yourself lucky! I used to lose close to 90 hairs in the shower every single day, and about 200 during the whole day. No baldness here, move on.This thread has somewhat put me at ease but this spot at the back of my head when my hair is wet is spooking me, also I find myself losing 25-30 hairs total daily in the shower
Dude, most people have an exposed scalp at the crown.. i have it too just like yours and i am not balding (yet) at the crown. Please leave this depressing place and never return. Besides, roughly 80% or so of men suffering hair loss begin with a receding hairline. From your pics you have ZERO hair loss. Now go, before you attract the attention of @CopeForLifeGot a haircut yesterday and I am probably just paranoid but my crown seems dreadful, thoughts? Close up taken with flash and the others are in natural light
I like how you tagged him so that he can see itNow go, before you attract the attention of @CopeForLife

I get that it still looks good and hasn’t progressed a ton but the difference in just 5 months is palpable, granted I have been swimming competetively much more since the summer and that has an effect on hair but I just wish my hair would be like it was during the summer
You're still here.. also, do you have a meth addiction? If you guys think these pics of my wet hair are fine I will leave and never return.
