Am I Going Bald? (receding Hairline/widow's Peak)

I'm 18, and I have been very stressed for the past few months after I discovered I have a
widow's peak/receding hairline, I never realised before because I had very long hair. Due to the stress and disatisfation of knowing it was there and assuming that I will go bald, I cut my hair.
I found some pictures of my hair from when I was 14, and noticed that I seem to have had a mature hairline back then too, though I had never noticed back then because I thought that male pattern baldness only occured in older males.
I shaved my hair again just a few days ago to get a better look at the hairs, and I couldn't find any miniaturization on the crown.
I also want to point out that my mother has very thin hair at the front of her head, and has a widow's peak too, as you can see in the photo; my grandmother and uncle seem to have the same thing too.
I am only related to one bald person, and that is my mother's father...

I would be really grateful for your opinions and advice.
(The photos that don't have text on them were taken a few days ago)

I take it you already know your paternal grandfather is the most important relative, but that isn't everything. Other balding genes come from both sides. It's impossible to tell from those pictures if you are starting to bald. If you are it's very early. Visiting a dermatologist might give you better insight. For now I suggest you take a lot of pictures in good lighting at all angles. Get your hairline and your crown. Save those pictures to use as a baseline later to see if there's any change. Make sure to take the pictures from/in a replicable conditions.
Hmm, I always thought it was mom's dad and that was a hoax

Most definitely receding. minoxidil/dermaroll until your body finishes maturing, then consider adding finasteride.

I turned 19 a few days ago, and have started using Minoxidil.
Would you say I am too young to start using Finasteride or Dutasteride?

19? In most cases you're fine. There are a few late bloomers roaming around though that need until around 20.5 to take it.

Which medication would be the better option out of Finasteride and Dutasteride?
I know that Dutasteride is more effective at blocking DHT, but I heard that it can increase testosterone which would speed up the balding process.
I am not sure if that is true, what are your thoughts?

I suppose it could, but dht is far more necrotic to hair than test. But dutasteride is way more side effect laden than finasteride. I'd get on finasteride. I am taking one mg a day, and am doing just fine. Results are good too.

Dutasteride is superior but has more risks involved since it also effects type 1 5ar etc I'd say give finasteride 12 months, if you are not maintaining add dutasteride instead. My own personal experience is that the sides from dutasteride are no better or worse than the sides on finasteride. I wish i had started on dutasteride though since finasteride wasn't strong enough to halt my baldness and i lost a lot of hair the year i was on finasteride.

That depends on whether you’re still maturing or not. Some people finish earlier than others. Generally the longer you can wait, the better off you are. A doctor can help you there better than myself or anyone else on the forums can.

Start with finasteride, it’s enough for most and leaves duta as an option down the line when it’s efficacy starts to go. If finasteride doesn’t help at all, then try duta, the latter is far stronger but you shouldn’t take it unless your sure you actually need it.

After letting my hair grow for a while since the original post, I think the hair loss is much worse than anticipated.
It even looks like it is occuring on the sides of my head.
Sorry to ask so many questions, but does this look like diffuse pattern baldness?
