I am 24. Noticed my hair recedes when 6 years ago. I thought I was too young to have finasteride at the age. Recently my hair has worsen and I’m thinking if I need to start taking medicine. Please help me to see if it is a freaking Norwood 3. Thanks guys!

You’re NW2 according to me, as NW3 starts when receeding goes behind your side burn.
As far as finasteride is concerned, get it prescribed. It will help you maintain & if lucky then some regrowth.
Also you may be a non responder or get pfs.

Do you have before pictures of any receding?
I"d say you're a Norwood 2.5A approaching 3A if the forelock thins out more.
Since it seems like you've already done your research, I'd definitely recommend you try finasteride for a year at least before re-evaluating. I wouldn't recommend minoxidil yet.
Looking at how the characteristics of your miniaturized hairline is I think you may respond well and get thickening. Most asians seem to respond well to finasteride and receded/miniaturize similarly in a 3A pattern. Good Luck!

Thank you for your comments. Are there cases where NW3 can go back to NW2 after taking finasteride? I have heard that some people have lost more hair after taking that, of which I worry would happen on me. I also reviewed some photos few years ago, and found that the hairline was less vague (denser and thicker). I would try to upload them later.
There's lots of cases where many have thickened hair. Based on your pictures, if your hair thickens up, you'll return to a norwood 2, but possibly a bit thinner than before you receded.
There's also lots of cases where many believe finasteride worsened their hair. The problem is we don't know if:
1. They are not a good responder and their hairloss progressed
2. Their hairloss was too aggressive
3. Finasteride really did trigger something and their hairloss accelerated
I see it this way. You're already close to a norwood 3A at 24, if you don't do anything, you have a good chance of progressing possibly further. Ask yourself if you will be happy if hairloss stopped at norwood 3A or if it stayed the same as it is now. Or you can take the chance of slight sides with a chance (higher chance than getting worse due to finasteride making it worse) of either maintaining(you can go hair transplant route) or getting thickening/regrowth(you may be content and not want to do a hair transplant).
