It does not happen to me CONSTANTLY, but when it does i use emu oil and it usually does the job. If i have to deal with this from time to time though, will i still see results, provided that i am adequately treating my hair loss?

How much of a threat is periodic irritation/inflammation?

You could try rotating Keto and Piroctone Olamine shampoos every day.

That plus essential oils got rid of inflammation for me entirely.

it can be an itch or it can feel like skin irritation.

i use keto (usually 1%) 3x a week, and it has made a substantial dent in my scalp troubles...but lately its been acting up. started spironolactone 2 weeks ago, but honestly i was doing alright (provided i put emu oil on some time after- if i dont after 4 or so hours my head starts to itch) until i started using dr lees regrowth shampoo (it gave me some pimples on my scalp after 2 uses last friday and monday)...hopefully the higher concentration of keto/the salycilic acid is the culprit and the extra irritation ive been experiencing lately will subside soon as ive switched back to 1%... its just lame thinking youre finally doing something right, then...this. haha
