Am I Thinning At The Crown? Help Needed

I’ve not been on here for a couple of years but I’m worried about my hair again. (Maybe because it’s grown longer) but I’m pretty sure my crown is in a sorry state.

Those pics are trash. It looks like you took it with flash on. Take one in direct sunlight with your forward facing camera so the sun doesn't affect your lens either. Naturally our crown is thinner and flash can make some parts appear thinner than they are and others thicker, which is what Im seeing in the pics.

I do not think its thinning. I think your parting extenuates it a lot along with the fact that your hair type is fine. I wouldn’t worry about it and take another pic 3/4months later and see if its progressed.

Cheers for the reply . I hope you’re right to be honest. I first posted pictures on here about 2 years ago and can’t work out if it has gotten worse. Just whenever I see that much scalp it freaks me out

I think it's easy to tell in any of the pics that your crown had definitely thinned. To much scalp is showing to not be balding. How's your hairline?

No receding in the hairline. I always put the crown down to a cowlick but I’m probably thinking finasteride is the best option now
