Everyone from every background has hair loss. You can't just make one or two observations and make a sweeping generality about an entire group of people.

You'll have to add alcoholics to that list.

Rofl, I couldn´t stop laughing when I saw this pic. I have never seen an Indian in real life and the next reservations aren´t around the corner so I won´t in the nearer future. But that fat guy has at least 50 % non-Indian blood. It is so obvious, I can´t believe how people can be so ignorant. Lol, yes, with white ancestors he will also end up having inferior white genes. Honestly Taugenichts your kidding yourself if you think they're perfect. Albeit not as bad as Europeans, they do have their own hair problems. Especially widows peaks and high hair lines.

You all really need to stop calling them "Indians." It's pretty damn insulting. I only live about an hour a way from the reservation and it's very typical for me to see multiple native americans in both the clinic and the ER on a given day. They do not have the same problems with "premature baldness" that other races have, but they definitely have male and female pattern hair loss in their population.

Also, that clearly isn't traction alopecia in any of those pictures and I have seen a pure blood native american woman that was NW7 before.

Sometimes Pony tails can degenerate in traction alopecia, specially when they are very tight.

Actually all the ones I've met don't use Native American, as technically everyone born here is a "Native American". Most prefer their individual tribe names and such. I mean.. would I be called a Native European-American? No.. Scottish-American sounds more logical.

exactly! the natives now are mixed thast why they have some balding ones. But the pure blood indians rarely went bald, and they could never grow a beard or body hair. Its just genetics they talked about this on discovery channel about the features of native americans from hundreds of years ago.

lol look at there age those guys are like 80 years old and been in the sun so much it damaged there hair. They still have impressive hair for being in the sun and being old but there skin is leathery and didnt fair to well.

high hairlines are not really balding there just high hairlines I considered balding having a monk head and balding on the crown.
