You all really need to stop calling them "Indians." It's pretty damn insulting. I only live about an hour a way from the reservation and it's very typical for me to see multiple native americans in both the clinic and the ER on a given day. They do not have the same problems with "premature baldness" that other races have, but they definitely have male and female pattern hair loss in their population.

Also, that clearly isn't traction alopecia in any of those pictures and I have seen a pure blood native american woman that was NW7 before.

A little. I have a lot of friends that grew up the various reservations around my state.

Again, I should merge threads. There is threads out there that swear blacks and Asians have more.

Research has demonstrated that caucasian males have higher rates of baldness when compared to any other race. Overall, the incidence is only like 60%, but in caucasian males it reaches 90% depending upon what age you're looking at.

They didnt start balding until they started eating an americanized diet, much like here in Iowa alot of the youngsters get horrible acne because they eat alot of junk food not too mention how many of them become raging alcoholics

Nevermind Indians, Blacks, and kids from Iowa. How bout a poor old man who was known for his hair throughout his life and now at 87 yrs old has a little bit of minaturization on his left temple. I feel the worse for a guy like that. devastating
