(vorher = before, nachher = after. The marked spot is a birthmark. I know it's not the same angle, but i think it's clear)

Use it and lose it!

19 years old, NW3. Was able to maintain with propecia, but quitted due to sides. minoxidil doesn't work for me either. I guess i'm screwed. 'been using Revivogen for almost 6 months.

What else are you using in your regimen?
I just started minoxidil together with dermaroller about 2 weeks ago (just on temples)

I just started minoxidil (again) together with dermaroller about 2 weeks ago (just on temples). I guess it won't help anyway.

I would hope you had attempted to use some sort of anti-inflammatory shampoo with Revivogen (if not Nizoral). Even with potent systemic inhibitors like propecia, some people report no effect until they added something like Nizoral.

Sorry forgot about that. I AM using Nizoral about 3-4 times a week =/

Amsch, I just hope you don't get the same results I got when I went back on the foam. It made my hair more dry and whispy and thinned out my hair real fast in the hairline. I do not know if I will recover from this. My hair has receded more in the past 6 months than my whole life. I have used minoxidil before and still use Proxiphen which has some minoxidil so that should have not happened. I have been off it for one week and my hair already has improved as not feeling like hay. Plus minoxidil gives me a puffy face and make my skin break out and look crappy. I hope you respond better and have better luck than I did.

sorry to see those results, Revivogen consistently amazes me - how can a product that rarely meets its promises continue to be so popular?!

I think those photos are slightly misleading - Amsch is frowning with his head further down in the first and not frowning with his head further up in the second. That said, if that birthmark is showing by what looks like a cm or so now and wasn't before, then that is some serious recession in 6 months.

I have been on finasteride for coming up to 6 years and things are dropping off slightly. So I started Revivogen about a month or so ago now and everything seems ok (still continuing with the finasteride). Will let you know how things are after 6 months.

Amsch - if things really have dropped off that much, do you think there's a chance that you still could be in the shedding phase?

Def,
Have you noticed any decreased shedding since adding Revivogen to your regimen?

I've been wondering what I would add to my regimen once finasteride's results (likely) wane after 4-5 years. I'm thinking either topical spironolactone or Revivogen.
