Hi friends!

I am new here, a friend introduced me to this forum, and I joined immediately, I think it'll be so helpful. I have to write my history, unfortunately I haven't had enough time to do it, but I promise I'll do as soon as possible.

My first thread is to ask you about what should I look in an analysis prior to use finasteride. My idea is to start taking it, because I have Androgenetic Alopecia, but I wanna do an analysis to control the diferent items during the treatment.

Can someone tell me what should I look for in the analysis?

Thanks for all. I think I'll learn too much in this forum =).

i don't really know. but if i wanted to analise it i would:

get a blood test prior to using propecia and get the Doctor to check testosterone levels and DHT levels.
every subsequent month i would get a blood test to reveal changes in hormone.

on the same days i would take a photos in the same room, lighting, angle eta and make sure they are close photos.

after photos i would then take a small lock of lock from my affected areas (just enough to c their pigment) and store it away. if treatment is working then the pigment should become more defined and healthier looking.

lastly i would put a plug in the shower and after showering, count the amount of hair's lost after each shower.

with each treatment that you add; hopefully u'll notice something from these tests

there is absolutely no way i could be bothered doing any of those but i have read that other people do one or more. the advantage of the blood test is that u can buy cheap generic brands of propecia and double check if they are working.

goodluck and hopefully u respond well to treatment

and keep in mind that there are people who experienced sexual problems in the propecia study that were taking sugar tablets (pacebo). and there were also people who experienced sexual problems (on propecia), continued and it went away (their body was prolly just adapting to the change)

Don't take Propecia unless you want to risk irreversible impotence.

This has happened to some with only a few doses.

Instead you should be reading David DeAngelo about female attraction.

Women don't freaking care what you LOOK like they care how you ACT.

Summary of the Attitude

• Be cool, calm, and collected.
• Don’t be weak and tentative.
• Make your own decisions and then act on them confidently.
• Don’t seek approval and treat difficult attitudes with indifference.
• Don’t let things impress you easily.
• Don’t get all self-conscious about your mistakes. Acknowledge them with light
humor but don’t try to hide or excuse them.
• Never excuse your behavior and don’t say, "Oh, I'm sorry." Instead, have fun and
blame mistakes on her.
• Don’t be always checking whether or not she’s happy. Allow her to take care of
herself or come to you when she wants help.
• Adopt a "so, entertain me" attitude and ask her to make an effort for you.

Acting as if she’s more important than you leads to affection.

Acting as if she is important—but that YOU’RE AT LEAST AS IMPORTANT— creates attraction.

Never Give Women Exactly What They Want

Women Aren’t Attracted to Guys They Perceive as Average.

yes probably, but I think that the first impression is the first impression, and as far as I know all the "bad" effects of propecia are reversible if you stop it, it's a shame but...

Check LH, FSH, testosterone (total and free), estrogen, prolactin and SHBG.

I also recommend that you measure the volume of your prostate, as finasteride will shrink it.
