Hello all glad to have found this community.

I am 35 and have been getting pretty thin on top for years now. I used finasteride for a couple years but once I realized that was causing extreme ED then I quit immediately. Right now my regimen is Minoxidil, Biotin 5,0000 mcg, Nizorel and the occasional Rosemary oil on the scalp (you can debate whether that does anything but it definitely helps the itch)

So of course my question is " What can I add to this?" Obviously finasteride is out and everyone tells me a lasercomb is an absolute waste. Is there something that I'm missing?

Thanks Guys (and gals) for reading.

If one cannot use Finasteride, there is an experimental topical anti-androgen known as RU58841. What it does is that it keeps Dihydrotestosterone, which is what's mainly responsible for Androgenic Alopecia, from binding to the androgen receptors so that way the genes don't express themselves so you won't have miniaturization of the hair follicles. RU58841 is going to be the best current option available since Finasteride cannot be taken, and as I previously stated, it's an experimental topical anti-androgen, so if you decide to use it, you'll be doing so at your own risk. Now, don't take me wrong though, I use it myself and I haven't had any problems with it, and has been working well for me.

Your current regimen will not maintain hair in the longterm, Minoxidil and Nizoral will help, but neither of them treat the underlying cause of Androgenetic Alopecia, which is DHT. So again, since Finasteride can't be taken, RU58841 is going to be the current best option available at treating your genetic hair loss. That's what you can add to your regimen.

Your suggestions make good practical sense.

If it helps the itch then it definitely is doing something! I'd recommend thyme essential oil, see how that works, orally and topically

Is Thyme suppose to be better? Good to know.

Okay that seems a bit ridiculous for 11 days. If your trying to sell your snake oil you should probably be realistic, like maybe say 4-6 weeks.
