youd be happy for a week before finding something else. Like me and relationships. I KNOW inevitably I will get confined, bored and hate whoever I am with after 6 months to a year merely tolerating them because Im to pretty to go to jail for murder.

Id be happy tho yes. Because tho I come off angry, mean and miserable all the time its more self therapy for me to be that way instead of actually BEING that way.

I was happy when I had hair so why wouldn't I be again?

I would never complain about anything ever again if I only got my hair back, and yes, I would feel happy. I would also appreciate every moment of my life and little things, hell I would kiss the ground and run around like a crazy person because of euphoria. Of course the whole experience of losing hair would scar me for life but I would not complain, in fact I would appreciate everything even more.

I'd be happy about my hair situation and overall appearance. But my life would not change all that much because I regrew all of my hair. Most people don't know I have an issue with my hair loss. I don't walk around angry or treat people like **** because of it. Life would merely go on with one less problem.

I would probably look at the mirror constantly, pull back my hair, admire my new founded hairline every chance I can get.
God that would be the day....

its funny how us baldies now trully appreciate something as simple as normality . . . . ..

sometimes i think in a way thats where one can derive a "positive" from baldness. it ages you mentally in a sense, like many other forms of suffering

if there was a soul than older souls go bald, if that makes sense

When things go from bad to better, it's a relief. That applies to everything, especially for us alopecia sufferers.

I looked at pictures of myself from 9 months ago, I can't believe how my hair has thinned that fast in those months. I feel like I'm going to be bald in the next 9 months.
I don't feel like myself anymore either, no matter what I do, I look like crap. I remember before my skin and hair problems, when I was goodlooking, I was treated with more respect. Now people treat me different in a negative way, maybe because my low selfconfidence shows.

Maybe, but your self-confidence is gone because your appearance has eroded so you don't have to blame yourself at all.

People who say "just be confident and people will like you more" while you're becoming ugly by society's standards are stupid.

You can't be confident for the sake of being confident. Balding and unattractive people who will try to act more confident are seen as arrogant pricks.

While good-looking people who act confident are seen as so charming and charismatic when they act confident.

It's funny how a lot of people are so oblivious to the power of looks in our daily lives.

It should be common sense that your appearance will influence absolutely every aspect of your life.[/QUOTE]

Agreed. Take a complete stupid , goodlooking girl and an ugly girl with a brain like Einstein to an event. Let both people talk, I bet you they will be more tempted to listen to the idiot, just because she's pleasant to look at.

Same with men unfortunately.

I've just seen an article in the most read Belgian magazine about how women are photoshopped and it creates unrealistic expectations etc. We've all heard that before.

But what about the unrealistic expectations girls have of us?

Now you are supposed to look like a combination between Ryan Gosling and Christian Grey otherwise the vast majority of women will not even consider dating you.

It makes me think of this picture:

Yep, you're right.
I remember watching america's got talent years ago, there was this guy, his teeth were messed up. As the show came closer to the finals, his teeth suddenly looked dramatically better, WHY? Because people like to look at perfectionism.
Hollywood creates monsters.
