For someone with limited time to browse the forum let alone reply to posts, it's really disappointing to notice entire threads vanishing into the ether. Furthermore, it stifles conversation as a whole, especially for casual posters or even lurkers who scarcely pop up to offer their two cents.
I understand the need for moderation but would an alternative to deleting entire threads be possible as to not lose weeks-worth of conversation? For instance, maybe simply deleting posts starting from a certain point in time would be enough or deleting posts from specific posters for a given thread and then locking it might be enough.
Of course, not every post or even thread makes for a worthwhile read but shouldn't it be up to the reader to decide whether the time is well-spent or not?
I made this thread under the "The impact of hair loss" subforum as it seems to be the section most subject to moderation. Feel free to move this thread somewhere appropriate.
Thanks for reading and, of course, thanks to the moderation team and the admin for offering us the opportunity to exchange ideas in our favorite little cesspool of misery on the Internet. XOXO
