I've been using 5% for about a year and a half now. I achieved great regrowth at the beginning after my shedding stage, but the more I kept applying the more I kept shedding. I thought that maybe 5% is too much for where I am at right now. After my revelation I went to Rite Aid to get some 2% but they only had the 2% in women's, but I got it anyway. I am currently using a mix of my 5% and 2% women's minoxidil right now. Is there any problem with this? I've heard the only difference is women's minoxidil is more alcohol based which you can definitely smell. Does this have any detriment on its effectiveness? Would I be fine using only the women's minoxidil? Could this mean less white flakes?!!
