Any results while taking .5mg of finasteride?

Hey guys I just bought some generic 1mg finasteride today. My plan is to take half of the pill daily. Has any one taken .5mg and received good results?

0.5mg should be almost as effective as 1mg, because it inhibits almost the same amount of DHT. Which generic finasteride are you using, and from what source did you get it?

If you have not currently been taking finasteride at higher doses, then I think it would be fine to start at that dose.

Yeah thats what I keep hearing just wanted to see if anyone seen significant results with it. Im using Geniric finasteride i bought from CVS for $78.00 1mg. I think the Brand is called "accord"

If you have not currently been taking finasteride at higher doses, then I think it would be fine to start at that dose.

Whether or not he is currently taking or has taken a higher dose shouldn't make any difference to the effectiveness of starting on a 0.5mg dose. The amount of 5AR inhibition from the 0.5 mg dose is going to be a fixed amount, and would not be affected by such factors.

I've been on 0.5mg ED and EOD, 0.625 ED and EOD, 0.2mg ED and EOD.

TBH, there doesn't seem to be a difference between any of them. I'm currently on 0.625mg EOD, will probably settle for this until anything changes.

Holding off hair loss so far pretty good, regrew a good amount of the crown, and thicker all over.

9 months in.

Good to see you getting results!, I hope to stop my temples and hairline from thinning. Tomorrow Morning Ill add to finasteride to my Regimen. Have a feeling ill get great results in a year of use.
