Anyone Else Have Hairloss The Stopped For A While?

I began losing my hair at 21 and went from a nw1 to a nw3 in around 8 years. Since the age of around 30 my hair loss has stopped for no reason over the last 6-9 months which seems really odd.

But I've also looked at some other people who have somehow stayed at a certain norwood for over 10 - 20 years (flea from the redhot chili peppers comes to mind).

Is this just genetic good look for your hair loss to stay the same way for a long time?

Has anyone else on here remained a norwood 3 for a decade without meds?

From the pre-finasteride era:

Very slow recession over 70 years, following ultra-fast recession in the late teens and early twenties.

Here is another interesting case.

1989/2017 Comic relief actor from Twin Peaks. His f*****g hairline is the same as in 1989. Finasteride wasn't out until 1997 (8 years later) and he was very bald at the top in 1989.

Isnt it funny how 30 years ago he looks balding but now it just looks normal.

If you have hair loss before 30 it is twice as noticeable.

I think user @abcdefg has been nw2 for at least 5 years.

Imo the way you can tell is the density, if you're not diffusing in a deep Norwood pattern and simply receding id say you're most likely dealing with non aggressive balding. If you start thinning out that's when you know hairloss is gonna come in either mildly aggressive or very aggressive.

I receded to a Norwood 2.5 over a 2 year period when I was 19-20, but then it stopped, and has remained until now (I'm 33). Have a marginally better hairline than my dad who's 55
