After taking it for awhile my leg hair seems to be significantly shorter in length which is an odd, but also welcome change :D. Now if only this would affect my chest hair..

there is only a very very small correlation between dht and body hair growth

I have always heard that either some people have a lot more body hair growth while on finasteride OR they have less body hair growth. Body hair shouldn't change at all while on finasteride, correct?

The fact is no one really knows. Probably varies by person for yet unknown reasons. I think testosterone plays a pretty big role and propecia doesnt alter that. Most women I know dont grow lots of body hair.

But people born with 5AR deficiencies are generally hairless and have no hair loss ever correct? I don't see how it would be a small correlation at all

I lost quite a bit of body hair about 6 months after starting finasteride. I had patches of hair growing on my back/shoulders/upper arms for years and they mostly disappeared with finasteride. My arm and leg hair is noticeably thinner/finer and there is a bit less of it.

Correct, same with people suffering from androgen insensitivity syndrome;

However it's different when you block the androgens/androgen receptors after puberty. For instance eunuchs who are castrated before puberty won't develop a beard. However when they already have a beard and then get castrated the beard doesn't vanish, it may however reduce a bit and often does. Same with finasteride/dutasteride they can reduce body hair growth and beard growth as many people have reported, but it doesn't have too.

you are underestimating the power of "Androgen receptor sites" and modifying them manually, please be aware of androgen insentivity in the future. 5AR is not works for puberty it maintains Central nervous system functioning and brain functioning. You have to research. I dont have time to pick and show you how you will screwed in the long term

Best wishes and hope you all well.

Yeah, I am among those that have had significant reduction in body hair. I am also a habitual hair-yanker, so that probably plays into it.
