well i cant say how good the foam is as oppossed to the liqiud, but its def worth a try. even though they cant say i will regrow hair there just because the trials was done on the crown as they was assured better results there in clinical trails as that area is less effected by DHT than the temples, well to my understanding. I have been using minoxidil on my temples since jan 09 and am now just over a month in on finasteride i i have def achived and stronger hair line and is filling in more every month. i even put it above my sideburns (not sure what that area is called) but slowly and surely the area is coming back making my forhead (wich i HUGE even befor i started lossing hair) look not half as bad lol. I have noticed the most growth here than anywhere else with mionxidil so if you can spare the time and hassel or applying in to any area where you want hair to come back its worth doing.
