I have quite finasteride, due to not feeling content with messing with my hormones on a daily basis. Along with having mild side effects.
Have now gone for minoxidil 15% along with azelaic acid 5% once a day and still using rogaine foam once a day. Am also using up two revivogen contatiners that I had lying around.

I know I need to inhibit DHT, and I'm not sure azelaic acid will do the job. So I am thinking about using topical spironolactone. Has anyone had success of stopping their hair loss using only spironolactone? You cannot expect regrowth from it, but has anyone halted or slowed down their hair loss with it?

Too early to say, been applying topical spironolactone S5 cream on my right temple point (which is badly damaged), there seems to be some thickening up but its very very hard to tell. That said, my velius hair on that temple have not as of yet disappeared.

spironolactone definitely slows down hair loss but it won't stop it.

I've read so many bad things about spironolactone.
Well, not exactly bad, but at least not that good.
Inefficient, is that right?
Plus, never seen good results with spironolactone only-usage

Is spironolactone cream only for temple usage or can it be applied over the whole scalp?

That is one heck of a regimen Believe. How much is the cost monthly for all that? You should also go to the "Tell your Story" section and post your story with some pics IMO.

PropeciaJunkie, I have no pictures of my case once I try to avoid this situation. So I hafta be less concerned about it, also not looking a lot in the mirror, or I can go crazy!
I don't know how much I spend per month. The pills for example I bought a supply for 5 or 6 months, so I can't really tell. I don't have the receipts anymore. But I can say that any good treatment for hairloss will make you spend quite a lot of money. It is inevitable. :(

I still would like to hear more about the spironolactone, because since I got to know about hairloss and started reading a lot of information everywhere, almost anybody had results with this because it might be weak for the hairloss, which is aggressive in a lot of cases around the world.
