Anyone have similar hairloss and what treatment was a success (unsure about hairloss help)

Im 17 for reference, been diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia on the top of my scalp last year by my derm and prescribed topical minoxidil, however a year later and it did not do anything but grow tiny baby hairs on my forehead while my hairline slightly regressed. I have a weird pattern of diffuse thinning taking place on my vertex, mid scalp, nape, above ears and typical hairline miniaturizing. Those areas use to get really itchy last year and would itch and burn so bad to the point i could pull multiple hairs after an itch period.

Was on topical minoxidil but now im on oral min 1.25mg and oral finasteride 0.5mg for 2 months but i lost all the tiny baby hairs from topical. Hopefully there are success stories and I can know who has similar condition to me. Either retrograde, dupa, lpp or something i dont know.

Minoxidil just needs to have an anti androgen like Finasteride mixed in. Unfortunately, science has not yet cured androgen alopecia. If you noticed hair falling out in the back (and not growing back in), it's probably something else in addition to androgen alopecia. That is usually the end stage of androgen baldness. It usually starts at either the vertex, hairline in front, or both.

Ohh okay, im on oral minoxidil currently with oral finasteride just hope it works but I got this strange pattern as seen in my photos
