Hey all:

A few weeks ago I noticed i couldnt find Nizoral anywhere anymore. I read on the forum that for some reason they had stopped production for a short time (i dont remember why) but that they would be restarting shortly. I still cant find it anywhere and their site just sends you to some online drug store where they're charging $50 a bottle.

Anyone know whats going on? Have you guys been able to buy nizoral in stores in the USA?

my freakin dermatitis is killing me..scalp is red and dry in the front..nothing else seems to clear it up

thanks

The company that creates Nizoral is relocating, so it will not be available for a few months. This is only temporary. Suppliers of nizoral are taking advantage of the limited supply by inflating the prices and deceiving people into thinking that it is gone for good.

I would say be patient for a few months if you can, so they can get a chance to be available in stores again. The cheapest place online I could find them is on amazon. It used to be 24$ for 2 100ml bottles of nizoral, but they seemed to have increased it to 27$ plus shipping.

There are other hair loss shampoos you can get off amazon that have Keto in them if you can't wait. (i.e. Revita, Regenepure, Perfect Image Soln.)

Have you tried T-gel? That is also good for Dermatitis. It's cheaper than nizoral too. 5$ per bottle.

You don't need a prescription for 1%. You might need a prescription for the 2% depending on where you live. You can get the 2% online without a prescription.

Yeah but I dont want to pay $50 if I can only pay $3 with a presription. I cant even find the 1% anywhere

have u tried coal tar. i.e. neutragena?

i have seb derm. and recently have found out coal tar works much better for me than nizoral. with nizoral the large yellow flakes com bac each week b4 i use it again, but with coal tar, it stays away.

also a teaspoon of tea tree oil in ur shampoo works well for me. when i dont hav enough money for coal tar or nizoral.

Ive totally gone off nizoral.

p.s. coal tar is much cheaper than nizoral @ ~$7.00 instead of ~$20.00
