That is a pain reliever like Ben Gay or Icee hot. Body builders use it allot. It is said to penetrate the skin quickly and was used as a topical vehicle for Testosterone. Being Test would be mixed with DMSO and then rubbed on the leg. Maybe it is being used to transport hair medications?
The onion juice is as odd as my greek friend Milos rubbing olive oil on his head for hair growth.

Ive been using the Oz brew since Oct 5th. my hair is less diffuse and have had some regrowth at temples, but too early to say how much more.
DMSO is a by-product of MSM or is it vice-versa.

Youve no idea how close you are! DMSO give you a garlic sort of breath for a little while.

Zimmy, would you attribute the regrowth at the temples to the Oz Brew or has it at least coincided with it's use?
How long were you on plain 'ol minoxidil before 'going Oz' (a little phrase I have just made up to make my self appear 'involved')
Don't worry I am not about to start drinking the stuff, I will do alot more research first, then rub it in my eyes.

Ive been using reular minoxidil since August 2002, im still using it as well as ox brew, i would say ive been a good responder. I think i have to contribute the sudden change in my hair due to the Oz brew, because it has been so sudden, i think thats the nature of the Oz brew is that if it works for you, it works quickly, because of the nature of DMSO and MSM, they both expediate hair growth. I did start Eil Crannel about 2 months ago, but i dont believe an anti-androgen it could have had such an effect so quickly.
minoxidil on its own has never really done a great deal for my temples either, it has been very slow at what temple regrowth ive had with it unlike the rest of my hair.

And finally do you apply Oz Brew 4 x Daily, like it says on the site?

No, im only using oz brew 2 x a day, some days only once, but im trying to stick to twice, I think 4 is excessive. The scalp peel idea freaked me out too, so i didnt do it when i started. However ive been doing it this week but i havent noticed any peeling at all, i just smell of onions. :laugh: Im actually serious about that. There is no noticeable smell from oz brew, but with pure DMSO dammmmmm....women WILL run away! Im using oz brew about 2 hours in the morning after minoxidil and lastt hing at night.

Oz Brew being a essentially "minoxidil plus other stuff" are you not doing a double application in the morning, with the evening application I make that three applications a day, how long is a 60ml minoxidil/Oz bottle lasting?
