Or did you get to a point where you'd lost so much, it was a case of buzz and get off the meds?
I'm thinking along the lines of threads on here, which talk about a tolerance to finasteride after seeing results wane, after 7 years on the drug or whatever. And people who say minoxidil effectiveness peaks after 2 years or whatever.
Celebs like Jude Law, for example, who maintained good (but still receding) hair for years and years have now given in and buzzed it down. And everyone I see with noticeable hairloss, I now think are like that because the meds didnt work for them anymore. I mean why would you not at least TRY the treatments?
The famous and inspirational Assignment_Zero also springs to mind.
Whilst I realise this seems like a mindless pessimistic rant, unfortunately this is my current outlook on hairloss.
Because whilst I myself have always had great regrowth from The Big Three when I've taken finasteride 2 times in the space of 5 years (I'm 23) with finasteride breaks in between (because of Gyno), now unlike before after 6 months there's no good news, and I'm certain that even though I religiously take 1.25 of fincar every night, apply minoxidil every morning and night and wash my hair with nizoral, my hairloss will just keep getting worse.
But I'm gonna keep going, no choice!
