Since 2009 I was at Dutasteride 2 pills a day
First Spironolactone 100 and 200mg ... it worked at first but after 3 months it was like I was not taking anything.
I tried Bicalutamide for almost 3 months. My itchy scalp came back in a vengeance (I lowered Dutasteride to 1 pill a day instead of 2).
Then ... Cyproterone 12.5mg (my testosterone was under female ranges) + Estradiol 4mg (Progynova) and Estrogel (on the scalp).
I stopped Cyproterone after 4 (?) months ... my itchy scalp was insane, it was useless.
No I'm back on Dutasteride 2 pills a day ... itchy scalp is still here. I have acne, high libido, and more body hair. And of course hair loss is winning over me (above the ears and and the top of the head).

An itchy scalp doesnt mean your going bald though. What if testosterone is making your scalp itchy? Do you realize how much higher your T and estrogen would be taking 2 dutasteride pills a day plus something like Bicalutamide? There is no way its from DHT on that kind of stuff. I would not judge hair results based off just a scalp itch maybe its dandruff or seb derm a totally separate issue. Its not always connected
Is dutasteride normally 2 doses a day? That seems like a lot why so much

Castration made my androgen receptors a lot more sensitive to DHT ... that's all.
My libido skyrocked on Cyproterone, my testosterone was very low but I was a lot more horny, weird.
I thought with Cyproterone + Estradio/Estrogel I would cure my hair loss even better than Dutasteride 2 pills a day. I was wrong. Dutasteride 2 pills a day was the best cure for me. But after that experiment Dutasteride 2 pills a day is not working anymore .... :'(
you are like male version of @Georgie

I didn’t. There is always a small part in me that will never accept it. But hell, buzzed it for few months and it’s normal for me now. Also my face is rated high or like idiots here call “chad”. I’ve bumped two guys once who said to one another “ewww look at that guy” while crossing. And a girl who’s a lawyer dressed in black, fit, elegant, called me hun and made the first move again randomly near a cafe I was in. Now you tell me, what do I make of this? What do I rate myself and what’s the stereotypical bs? Answer: there isn’t any. The world is chaotic, there are no rules. One thing is certain and that is sociable = higher chances of being and finding whatever the hell is that makes you happy. But yes, you do accept hair loss, to answer your question. Eventually you do, other things come to play. That’s why it’s so stupid to take drugs that you know are rendered useless eventually. I’m not saying it’s easy to give up. But everyone does, in the end.

I’ve been on a somewhat intensive regimen for some time now, recently started to observe some significant gains on my temples which is somewhat of a relief. Obviously a regimen like mine is very risky so if you ever got any negative sexual sides from finasteride I probably wouldn’t bother considering going down this route.

Of my penis, the lawyer, my chad face, my crown or a quote to ease your current state of anxiety and envy over my superior looks as well as your desperate attempt for self validation?
I’m a woman. I was enquiring about your hair.

So currently you’re on oral minoxidil, duta, estradiol?

Dude, just shave your head. I say this as someone who also really does not want to lose my hair. But people will get used to you with a shaved head. The first few months will be tough, but within a year people will hardly care. Please don't ruin yourself

There is no way on a regime like this your still going bald although I do think something happens with receptors when you start blocking them, and lowering DHT drastically. We just need more research into what, and what role PGD2 plays in male pattern baldness.
We need a lot more research into male pattern baldness in general which makes me still doubt male pattern baldness will be cured in the next 10-20 years. It might be 50-100

How old are you ? If you're going to go down the Nuke route consult some of @IdealForehead 's routine...

Would never suggest f*****g up your hormones as dude to that extent just for a head of hair - might as well get yourself a pair of heels and a bra if you do.

Boy, you got a real purty mouth! Take those pants right on offf!

sh*t. What are your side effects and how Is your hair?

The sides I've experienced include lower libido, reduced energy, and mild gyno (hardly noticeable). I’d say my hair is in great condition, it used to be course and diffuse, now it looks glossy, full, and just generally healthy.

I would assume the average person would say that my hair looks normal and recently I have started to get complements about my hair which has genuinely increased my overall confidence. However, I’m not there yet, temples are showing much promise with hair in this area ranging from 0.5 ~ 3cm, they haven’t become terminal but I’d imagine they are only a few cycles away. Density is probably at 70-80% of what my hair was at pre onset of Androgenetic Alopecia/male pattern baldness.
