I guess this msg goes out to all who have a Norwood 2 situation, that seems to basically be consistant and not progressing further back. That's where I find myself. I'm 31, and for the past few years, I've been at a norwood 2, with very little results from products. I did attempt Rogaine 5% for almost 2 years no real results, also had no shedding when I stopped.. As well, I consistantly use nizoral 2%, along with Nisim shampoo, and crinagen. I'm sure I could be doing more, and thats what I'm trying to determine here..

Has anyone had any moderate success with bringing a norwood 2 hairline forward a bit? If so, which products and/or treatments did you use? I'm not looking to re-establish a perfect hairline, but some improvement would be helpful..

Dude, Norwood 2 is not balding!! It's a mature hairline and 96% of caucasian men get it, other ethnicities get it too but less common among them, so it'll be there whether you like or not and no treatments will help to bring it down!! Only transplant can do that but that would be insane. If a norwood 2 bothers you then something is seriously wrong with you. Take a look around even men who are not balding have a V or M shape hairline that's how we are made by nature.

I agree.. However, it would be nice to have the N2 just slightly improved, I'm not talking like the pic posted here of Lewis Hamilton.. At the very least, I'd be happy to just maintain what I have.. Any re-growth, would be a bonus, as they say:)

It doesn't really bother me, that's why I suppose I have taken a fairly casual approach to it. What bothers me, is the amount of cash I've spent on products, without seeing any real results. Some products have certainly helped in the maintaining capacity though.

Any other insight from others in the same situation would be welcome! ..

Am i the only one who thinks that hamilton has this really dodgy looking hairline that reeks of a hair transplant soo much? Not that i have anything against it but it looks reaaally odd. It's not like i just noticed it now, he had a weird hairline going on for a while now.

I don't mean to repeat everything said so far, but my first reaction on reading the original post was "Dude, you are 31, get on with it!!!!"....

I also don't understand the mentality of "buying hair". You threw cash at it and you expect to grow hair? If there is a magical pill that suddenly makes us younger, let us know what it is.

On Hamilton: I believe the kid is doing something to his hair but I don't know what. On some days his temples and the frontal areas look thinner, which is the natural process of aging.

As for the original poster, look man a NW2 or so called a mature hairline is a natural occurance among as men between the ages of 17-29! We can't prevent it, it's just a slight recession of up to 1.5 inches of your temples and about 1/2 inch of your midline. Let me tell you one thing...NO PRODUCTS in the world will bring you down from it only a hair transplant will and only crooked doctors will modify a mature hairline for you, so go to one and they will take care of you.
