I ask because my own impact of hair loss story is far from being mostly a balding story. I find myself mentioning autism in several posts because I feel it has probably combined with my hair loss as a very challenging social impact.

Does anyone here have any circumstances such as the following?

Autism/Asperger's
Being an extreme introvert
Social anxiety
Schizophrenia or paranoia

Or anything else, that presents social challenges for a person, that I didn't mention?

I am not saying that ANY of the things above are linked to or correlate with ANY other in the list above. What I am saying is, if anyone does have any of the above it would probably be a double whammy if combined with (especially advanced) balding.

I was label as autism at a time when i was at school. But it was during my elementary school years and later on in highschool i did fine socially. But as soon as my hair fall begun i notice i started to become more shelter. And started to have the thought i do have autism since in some social settings i would respond differently than a normal person would respond. but then again it maybe could just because im bald now. So you can say it add's on top of the whole balding psychology. But it could be a big difference between someone with autism that was not balding compare to someone with autism and balding. But autism such a broad subject since there many type's of autism.

I have become an extreme introvert and have developed social anxiety I think.

Always been an introvert and had social anxiety. NW5 just tops it off.
Recently developed a sleeping disorder....could be due to alcohol though.

You may want to drop that alcohol. From my experience, alcohol doesn't do any help to male pattern baldness, it only makes it worse.
And i've never been a heavy drinker.

Alcohol will kill sleep quality. If you already have issues with anxiety adding sleep deprivation will only exacerbate the effects. If this continues you should see a professional, assuming you haven't done so already.
