applying minoxidil then putting on a hat

hey guys i have a question, during the morning i apply rogaine foam then during the evening i apply rogaine liquid after i apply rogaine i always put my hat on, is this a problem?

hmmm I'd like the answer to this as well. I work outside all day and need some kind of cover. I don't mind the evening cause I don't need to cover my head in the evening but I do need to cover during the day. Oh, I shave my head so I don't know if this applys to you. A burnt head DOES not feel good.

I apply mine once in the evening and tend to give it an hour before applying a cap...only really do this as it messes my hair up something chronic and don't really want my housemate to see it. Sometimes I can leave it to dry though if he's out the house for example.

The only issue with putting it on straight away is that its not getting much to absorb...but I could be wrong there, someone more clued up might be able to give you a better opinion than me I've read though that applying the cap could be good thing though, something to do with moistening the scalp slightly (with sweat) and that being more responsive to the minoxidil? Again though, I could be wrong....

I wouldn't imagine it being very comfortable in a fitted baseball cap with all the grease/oil buildup...maybe try a trucker hat? I find that the holes add a little bit of breeze so I don't feel like I'm cooking in there. It also has a strap so you can adjust it to fit a size larger so you're not as constricted.
