Applying Rogaine while using Toppik

Hi guys, I've been reading here a while but finally signed up.

My question is, do any of you use rogaine and toppik? My routine goes like this:

wash hair in the morning
apply rogaine foam
after it's dried, apply toppik
wash hair to get the toppik out at night
apply rogaine foam
take 1/5 proscar

It seems like I'm having to do a lot of hair washing to get rid of the toppik. If anyone can provide some insite, it would be appreciated.

I apply Rogaine right on to my head at night (with Toppik in still) before I go to bed and just shower in the morning. I don't believe Toppik is effecting Rogaine's effectiveness.

I think its important to get the toppik out of your hair at night before applying Rogaine again. I don't think you need to wash it with shampoo though. I usually run my hair through water.

I agree with losingitall. minoxidil will be most effective when used on a clean scalp. I always apply after a shower (about 5 mins after towel drying) even if that means just rinsing my hair.
