Applying rogaine with other hair styling products....

Was curious how difficult it is to apply other kinds of hair styling products such as gel when using rogaine foam (or liquid). Can mixing the two be counteractive in any way? When I grow my hair out I usually have to use somewhat oily products like Bedhead in order to style my poofy hair.

One of the posters on here a while ago used brylcreme and claimed it enhanced minoxidil absorbtion as well as styling his hair. If i find the link i will send it to you.

I find that interesting.... I usually wait til it dries then us a little mist of water and whatever styling product or sometimes go with the "hair spray" look on the minoxidil
