Arghhhh--Folligen turned my scalp green!

I have been battling major scalp problems for months due to Minoxidil, using Nizoral and TGel to no avail (check out http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/discussions/viewtopic.php?t=5987&highlight= for some background) and so eagerly awaited my arrival of Folligen.

I got the stuff 2 days ago, and now different sections of my scalp are stained green. I put on 1 ml of the spray at night, and despite watching my hair the next morning, the green tint is still there!

Has anyone else had success in beating this? I dont want to give it up after reading so many good things about it, and since i need SOMETHING to stop the flaking.

I know there is Folligen for blondes, but one im not blone, and two, i read it may not be as effective as the reguarly stuff anyway. Also, I know Tricomin is another option, but again I hear its not as good a product as Folligen, not to mention the fact that I just spent 40 bucks on the stuff...

any help is appreciated

I apply the spray using a dropper and have never seen a stain. For the first few minutes after I apply it I see the green, but after it dries I dont really see it. I surely dont notice after I wash my hair.

My experience exactly.

I agree, I use a dropper and its much better for getting it on the scalp and not hair. I am blonde too and have no problem with it staining my scalp. Before it would turn my hair a slightly greenish tint after using the sprayer but the dropper fixes that problem.

I use 1 ml with a dropper each night, and it doesnt stain my hair, but the actual scalp...

I did go on folligen.com and saw someone suggest rinsing with lemon water, but that didnt do anything either...

it just sucks cause i want this to work badly, and i think its starting to, but now i might not be able to continue using the stuff...

just curious....are you sure you're not applying too much? because in my experience...it would have to take a hefty amount of spraying to turn the area completely green to the point of it being noticeable

like i said i use 1ml per night with the dropper...in theory this means that the bottle should last 8 months, so i dont think too much is the problem...

Call me crazy, but I think the green stain is a blessing. Gives your scalp a darker tint which in some lights, gives your hair a denser appearance. At least thats what I noticed on my on scalp, but my head is buzzed and I use the lotion.

This has never happened to me and I am somewhat pale.

I shower in very hot water and let conditioner sit on my scalp for at least 5 minutes before washing it out. Maybe this loosens it up.

Maybe try this?

Or try dilluting it 50/50 in distilled water.

i use the cream. and i use it on the hairline the scalp and the center area of the hair.. is that ok? or is that exclusivly for the spray?
I apply it at night and rinse it out in the morning. No stains.

Does folligen cause increased shedding before it starts to work? Everyone here seems to absolutely revere the product and I think it'd be a good thing to add to my regimen but I can't endure another bad shed period before regrowth. Any replies would be appreciated. thanks.
