I had not seen an Avacor ad on TV in a long, long time. Then, I saw one just last week. I honestly don't see how they can get away with what they claim. They even have a doctor in the commercial saying how great this stuff is, and how it's proven to work. I never used Avacor, but until I began researching online, I had no idea that it was a scam. I honestly believed that all the before/after pictures were the real deal. How do these guys stay in business? I figured that they were on their way out the door until I saw their commercial airing on TV last week. These guys are the scum of the earth!

They can make claims that their product works, that is patented, and approved as a successful treatment for hairloss, and all the claims are legal.

How? Because Avacor contains minoxidil. And as such, they can attribute all of the proven science behind minoxidil to their own product, without actually having to TELL people that it is the minoxidil in avacor that these claims are really describing.

Avacor isn't a snake oil, per se. It is minoxidil that has been mixed with some other superfluous stuff and then marketed as a unique product. In effect, it is overpriced minoxidil! And it only contains 2% minoxidil at that! However, the average joe does not know this because Avacor hides this fact from consumers.
