Avodart Question

I popped my first Avodart that I got from the pharmacy today. I feel really spacey and almost like I'm on hydrocodone or something. Is this normal?

I had some really crazy dreams last night. I mean stuff that probably did happen in my child hood that I can't even remember. I am wide awake at 7 am... kind of crazy. Now on to day 2.
